Caney Fork Pygoras Coal

Star buckling out of Permanent Grand Champion Fleece goat Mountain Meadow Farm Tiny Dancer and Caney Fork Pygoras Sirius Lee Black. Incredible width, depth of chest and muscle on this little buckling. Despite his pin straight kid coat lineage suggests Type B fleece. Laid back personality.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Zane
Wether — $425
Zane has a smaller frame than his brother, but his kid coat is incredibly soft and we’re expecting wonderful white fleece out of him. Mom, MMF Tiny Dancer, is one of the breed’s very few Permanent Grand Champion Fleece goats. Sire is Caney Fork Pygoras Sirius Lee Black.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Mr. Boo
Wether - Sold
Mr. Boo is out of Mountain Meadow Farm Fidget and Spinner’s Joy Chester and has potential for A or B fleece with lots of volume thanks to his father’s prolific Type A fleece. Fidget always throws kids with super friendly personalities, and this one is an absolute lap goat! Too friendly to be a buck.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Daphne
Doeling — Sold
Sister to Mr. Boo, Daphne is absolutely the sweetest kid of the season. She loves people and wants to be in your lap. Out of Mountain Meadow Farm Fidget and Spinner’s Joy Chester, she is likely to produce large volumes of Type A or B fleece. We retained her full sister last year and she is already a prolific producer as a yearling.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Fudge
Buckling - Sold
Fudge is out of Caney Fork Pygoras Mary Jane who has one Grand Champion win under her belt as well as a Reserve Grand Champion Fleece win. Sire is first time dad Little Hawk Farm Remington. We expect Type B caramel fleece on this well-built buckling. Square with great bone structure. and chest width.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Tootsie
Doeling — $575
Fantastic doeling with square structure, nice bones and beautiful markings. Tootsie comes from a long line of easy kidders. Her mother, grandmother and older sister have all been fabulous kidders for our farm. Likely Type B fleece, although sire Little Hawk Farm Remington has cashmere-quality Type C fleece.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Silver Surfer

This little guy out of Spinner’s Joy Chester and Little Hawk Farm Blue Bonnet is a gorgeous silver agouti with potential for Type A or B fleece. He is one of our smaller bucklings this year but nicely built — square with nice width for his size.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Silverbell
Doeling — $550
We love the natural form of this doeling out of Spinner’s Joy Chester and Little Hawk Farm Blue Bonnet. She’s square with nice structure and width, and you can see her depth of chest even in this photo at a few days old. Potential for prolific Type A or B fleece.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Betty
Doeling - Sold
Betty is a lovely doeling out of Quail Hollow Farm Pebbles, who won Grand Champion Fleece at the 2025 Michigan Fiber Festival, and Caney Fork Pygoras Sirius Lee Black. Very square, good width, nice straight walk. Betty’s mom is one of our larger does and an easy kidder.

-

Caney Fork Pygoras Amber
Doeling — Hold
Fantastic doeling. Nice structure, walks out straight, very square and nice width. Amber has unique brown agouti coloring with white hair mixed throughout. Her parents, Caney Fork Pygoras Stacy and Little Hawk Farm Remington both have great fleece handle and coverage. Friendly personality and out of our best line of easy kidders.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Steve
Buckling - Sold
Twin to Amber, Steve is out of Caney Fork Pygoras Stacy and Little Hawk Farm Remington. We expect Type B gray fleece like mom, who has tremendous coverage and volume. Laid back personality, and nice square build.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Rosemary
Doeling — Sold
Rosemary was our smallest kid of the year, and she is out of one of our smaller doelings. She is also our highest percentage doeling of the year at over 70% angora, so potential for Type A fleece with plenty of length and density. She has nice square structure and straight lines. We have priced her at a discount because she has a teat spur on one of her teats. While she can be bred, this trait could be hereditary.
-

Caney Fork Pygoras Elwood
Buckling — Hold
Very nice square, straight buckling with high percentage angora, lovely brown caramel coloring and fun markings. This guy has great structure but may be on the small side as his dam, Spinner’s Joy Clover, is a smaller doe and his dad, Little Hawk Farm Remington has nice width but is shorter than our other bucks.
