Caney Fork Pygoras Wild Rose

Out of Honeysuckle Haven Wild Coco Orchid and Spinner’s Joy Chester, Wild Rose is mostly white with a touch of light caramel on her shoulders. She is the curliest of the babies and I expect Type A fleece out of her. Her full sister was the judge’s choice fleece at the 2024 Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival.

The first born of Mountain Meadow Farm Violet’s triplets, Mini Pearl is the smallest doeling ever born on our farm at 3 pounds 9 ounces. She has soft, curly white baby coat and the sweetest personality along with a nice square frame. Sire is Spinner’s Joy Chester.

Viola is the middle child of the triplets out of Mountain Meadow Farm Violet and Spinner’s Joy Chester. She is a beautiful creamy white and has Type B fleece potential.

Mark is the whitest and curliest of our bucklings this year out of Permanent Grand Champion Buck The Oaks Grover. From dam Quail Hollow Farm Hoho, Mark will be taking on herd sire duties at another PBA member farm.

Matthew, brother to Mark and son of The Oaks Grover and Quail Hollow Farm Hoho is on hold as we assess his buck potential. He will be released in mid April if not selected by those purchasing bucks. He is a lovely light caramel with Type B fleece potential.

This little guy out of Caney Fork Pygoras Sirius Lee Black and Little Hawk Farm Praline has gorgeous brown caramel markings with potential for Type B or C caramel fleece. He is shaping up to have nice width and could make a nice herd sire for someone looking for Type C buck potential.

She has nice width and square build, and her mother won Reserve Grand Champion fleece at the 2024 Saving SAFF PBA fleece and goat show with her super soft type C fleece.

Spinner’s Joy Cecelia delivered a buckling and doeling on St. Patrick’s Day out of Caney Fork Pygoras Sirius Lee Black, and we have appropriately named this buckling Patrick. Cece is an F2 and has massive fleece with long staple length, producing almost three pounds per sheering. Born petite this little guy is shaping up nicely and will be going to a New England farm as a herd sire.
