Meet our 2023 kids
-
CFP Greystoke (aka Gravy)
Buckling — Sold
The first born of the season from Mountain Meadow Farm Pepper and Spinner’s Joy Chester, Greystone is thick-boned and growing fast. He will likely have A-type fleece following suite from both of his parents.
-
CFP Biscuit
Doeling - Sold
Twin to Greystone (aka Gravy), Biscuit is our first doeling out of Spinner’s Joy Chester, who is a register F2 Pygora. Her kid curls indicate probably Angora-like fleece with massive curls.
-
CFP Iris
Doeling — Sold
Honeysuckle Haven Magnolia and Spinner’s Joy Chester produced twin doelings for their first breeding. Iris is a lovely light gray agouti with Type B fleece potential.
-
CFP Star
Doeling — $500
Iris’s twin, CFP Star, has the softest kid coat of any of our kids this year indicating that she could have fine Type B/C fleece like her mother with her father’s stark white coloring.
-
CFP Tito
Wether — Sold
Caney Fork Pygoras Carlos Jackson and Little Hawk Farm Blue Bonnet produced twin bucklings. CFP Tito has the best personality of all the kids in the barn and likes to be with humans. He also has nice structure and we expect brown or gray Type B fleece potential.
-
CFP Jermaine
Wether — Sold
Tito’s twin brother Jermaine is the spitting image of his father, Caney Fork Pygoras Carlos Jackson with a small white spot (not shown) on his left from armpit and frosted ears. He is dark brown agouti and we expect caramel Type B fleece.
-
CFP Peter
Wether - Reserved
Peter is out of Mountain Meadow Farm Tiny Dancer, a Grand Champion Fleece winner, and F2 Pygora Spinner’s Joy Chester. He has a wide chest and would make a nice buck for someone looking to add fleece length to their herd as both parents have long fleece. He has Type A or B fleece potential.
-
CFP Cotton
Wether - Sold
Based on personality and amazing fleece potential, we are recommending Cotton as a wether and looking for an owner interested in making the most of what will likely be ample, white Type B fleece. He will be an excellence pet and fiber producer and would also show well as a wether.
-
CFP Zinger
Buck — Sold
Zinger is the single buckling offspring of Quail Hollow Farm Hoho and Caney Fork Pygoras Carlos Jackson. Although he looks almost black in this photo he is dark brown agouti and we expect brown, caramel or gray/brown Type B fleece.
-
CFP Vincent
Wether — Sold
Vincent, or Vincent Van Goat as my husband calls him, is out of Honeysuckle Haven Wild Coco Orchid and The Oaks Grover. We absolutely love this little goat, and he would be great for someone looking for quality buck that is on the smaller side. Both parents have amazing fleece! But, born on the coldest night of March, Vincent’s ears were frostbit and we expect him to lose some portion of the tip of each ear.
-
CFP Rowan
Buck - Sold
We’ve been excited about this pairing since the beginning of the season as it brings together many of our best lines. Mom Caney Fork Pygoras Mary Jane won Junior Reserve Champion Doe at two shows in 2022. Dad The Oaks Grover won Champion Buck Fleece at Columbia River Pygora Fleece Show and Reserve Champion Buck Fleece at Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair in 2022.
-
CFP Anna May
Sold
She was born on the small side, more than 1.5 pounds smaller than her twin brother, but we’re expecting big things as this little light caramel doeling grows. Her lineage includes multiple Grand Champion Pygora Goats and her mother won Reserve Champion Junior Doe at two shows in 2022.
